This herbarium includes the specimens used for the preparation of the 17 volumes of the “Prodrome” (1824-1873), and its continuation: the “Monographiae Phanerogamarium” (1874-1896) as well as the Casimir De Candolle collection of Piperaceae. Other collections within the original herbarium of the De Candolle family have been incorporated into the General Collection-G.
