Dataset summary : Western New Mexico University houses a regional collection of bird specimens (about 1100 specimens) focused on the biodiversity of southwestern New Mexico. This collection is part of the Gila Center for Natural History within the Department of Natural Sciences. The collection currently is static, with no growth since 1993.
