The BADR project (Before-After Dose Response) monitors before and after oil sands development in order to measure ecological change as a result of oil sands activity. Before-After is captured in this program using two approaches: 1) repeated sampling of sites (measuring change over time), and 2) space for time inference (measuring change in disturbed areas relative to controls).
